The client operates in the healthcare industry, where they have multiple patients who visit the hospital for checkups. After each checkup, the doctor prescribes a medical course. Once the medical course is complete, patients will receive reminders to refill their medicines on the due date.

Beginning Requirements

This project aimed to develop a method to send SMS messages to patients before the completion of their medication course, to ensure they refill their medicine on time. To meet this requirement, we integrated Twilio with Salesforce. This allows us to send SMS messages to the patient and maintain their data in Salesforce.

  • Create Segmented ListsThe major challenge was to segment and prepare a list/group in which all the prospects will receive an email with the offerings and valuable information to attract them to the business. We created two lists one of ‘inactive’ data and the other of ‘never active’ data based on Tags.
