THE OBSCENITY
In the world's wealthiest country, about 100 million Indians live in poverty and face daily hunger. There is no food scarcity. India produces far more food than is required for domestic consumption, with 40% of that food going to waste. However, poverty has resulted in widespread hunger and food insecurity.
THE OBJECTIVE
To eliminate hunger and food insecurity in India, so that no kid or adult goes hungry.
PARTNERS
We work with community-based organisations, local governments, and businesses to sign up people in need, connect them with participating restaurants, and collect funding to support our efforts. Our project partners and individual collaborators are critical to achieving our mission of bridging the gap between technology and humans.
